Purpose of Data Processing
All data collected through this portal is processed strictly for the administration of the program. We use
this information to:
- Evaluate eligibility and score applicants based on our structured selection framework.
- Verify the authenticity of academic enrollment, performance, and financial need statements.
- Prevent fraudulent submissions or duplicate entries.

Data Security, Transport, and Encryption Protocols
We employ enterprise-grade technical and organizational safeguards to secure your sensitive information
against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure:
-
Encryption in Transit: All telemetry and data fields parsed from client interface terminals
are transmitted using secure Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) protocols.
-
Encryption at Rest: All personal files, databases, and structural entries are stored using
Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) data encryption profiles.
-
Isolated Document Isolation: All submitted identification, financial proof, and academic
documents are stored in segregated, access-controlled cloud repositories.
-
Malicious Packet Scanning: All incoming file attachments are isolated in automated staging
sandboxes and run through deep real-time threat scanning protocols before final directory integration.
-
Restricted Access Control: Access to candidate portfolios is strictly restricted to
authorized members of the Human Resources department, Executive Leadership, and the designated Selection
Committee.
4
Third-Party Data Sharing & Mandatory Verification Permissions
Bridging Technologies does not sell, rent, or lease candidate data to any third-party marketing or commercial
entities. Data sharing is limited strictly to the following parameters:
-
Institutional Verification: By submitting an application, the candidate grants our Human
Resources team explicit permission to share minimal identifying details with their listed school, college,
university, or recommender solely to verify enrollment metrics, fee structures, and the validity of
endorsement letters.
-
Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if explicitly required by applicable law, judicial
orders, or competent regulatory authorities.
5
Retention and Data Purging Lifecycle
-
Unselected Applicants: To maintain system integrity and handle subsequent review cycles,
data for applicants not selected for the current cohort is securely archived for a standard evaluation
window and then permanently purged from our active database environment.
-
Selected Scholars: Portfolios of chosen scholars are migrated into the secure Internal
Student Tracking Database for the duration of their scholarship tenure to monitor ongoing academic
progression and mentorship engagement.
